Arlo

Arlo provides smart home security products and services to millions of customers. Humdinger defined the visual and user experience across product launches, packaging systems, digital campaigns, and the mobile app experience.

The challenge: turn sophisticated security technology into clear, compelling benefits that give millions of customers a greater peace of mind.

Arlo Essential Gen 2 Packaging System

For the launch of the second generation of the Essential camera line, Arlo needed a cohesive packaging system that clearly communicated both hardware features and the added benefits of software extension with Arlo Secure plans.

We developed a clean and flexible visual system that simplified complex information, differentiated products, and created a consistent brand experience across every SKU.

Beyond the Shelf

While Arlo’s hardware is central to the brand, much of the customer experience extends into software. I helped shape campaigns and in-app engagements designed to grow Arlo Secure subscriptions by highlighting new features, plan benefits, and limited-time offers directly within the Arlo app.

The first in-app engagement campaign more than doubled its targeted volume of Arlo Secure subscriptions.

Expanding The Arlo Experience

In addition to packaging systems, I created supplementary materials such as line art illustrations, quick start guide booklets, logos, icons, and other packaging and retail materials.

I was also the primary production artist executing the design for all the products launched in 2026 including: Essential 3rd Gen, Pro 6 Gen, Ultra 3rd Gen, and Arlo’s first Pan-Tilt camera line.
